Energy technology firm SLB has been appointed as the strategic reservoir partner for the Havstjerne carbon storage initiative in the Norwegian North Sea. The company will deliver critical technology and engineering services during the project’s concept and front-end engineering design (FEED) phases, supporting a large-scale offshore development designed to store carbon emissions from industrial sources across Europe.
