What we collect

If you only read: your IP address, browser and the pages you visit, through our own audience measurement and, if you consent, third-party analytics.

If you register: your name, your email address and the preferences you set. If you save articles or ask our assistant a question, we store that so the feature works.

If you write to us: whatever you put in the message, so we can answer it.

Why we use it

To run the site and your account, to send the newsletters you asked for, to understand which journalism is read, and to keep the site secure. We do not sell your data.

Legal basis

Your account and the newsletters run on the agreement between us. Analytics and any advertising measurement run on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Security runs on our legitimate interest in keeping the site up.

How long we keep it

Account data for as long as your account is open, and a short period afterwards for our legal records. Messages for as long as they are useful for the exchange. Audience data in aggregate.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and email providers, acting on our instructions. Where a provider is outside Morocco or the European Union, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or object to a particular use. Write to info@financialports.com and we will reply within a month. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
