Swedish engineering group AFRY has been appointed international technical adviser for the $2.69bn Thai Binh LNG-to-power project in northern Vietnam, where it will oversee offshore LNG receiving infrastructure, subsea gas pipelines and a submerged yoke mooring system. The development, which broke ground last October, is scheduled to reach full commercial operation in the fourth quarter of 2029.
