HMM secures stable profitability in H1 2026

Following KRW 10 trillion in investments over the past 15 months, HMM will continue to invest under its expanded KRW 29 trillion mid-to-long-term strategy for 2030 to enhance its future competitiveness and growth.

Revenue for H1 2026 totaled KRW 6,121 billion, with net profit of KRW 765 billion and operating profit of KRW 623 billion, resulting in an operating margin of 10.2%.

In Q2 2026, revenue was KRW 3,402 billion, net profit KRW 411 billion, and operating profit KRW 354 billion.

The Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI) averaged 1,957 points in H1 2026, up 15% from 1,701 points a year earlier.
