1,600-HP Towboat Joins Fleet: Why This 52-Foot Vessel Matters for Inland
Maritime Partners expands its US inland fleet with the 52.5-foot M/V Ann Nash.
Maritime Partners has expanded its fleet with the addition of the M/V Ann Nash, a towboat built to meet the demands of inland marine operations. The vessel was constructed by FMT Shipyard & Repair in Harvey, Louisiana, marking the latest collaboration in a long-standing partnership between the two companies and Laborde Products.
The M/V Ann Nash measures 52.5 feet in length, with a 19.6-foot beam and a 3.3-foot draft. Its propulsion system features twin Mitsubishi S6R2 Tier 3 engines, each generating 803 horsepower at 1,400 RPM, for a combined output of 1,600 horsepower. The vessel is also equipped with two 65kW generator sets, supplied by Laborde Products, which support its electrical systems.
This delivery is the fourth from FMT Shipyard & Repair to Maritime Partners, following the M/V Deirdre Ann, M/V Beth Williams, and M/V Lulu Hamilton. The repeated collaboration underscores a shared commitment to producing reliable, purpose-built towboats for the inland marine sector.
