Iran has approved a new fee system for ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for global energy supplies. The charges, outlined in Article 3 of the Strategic Action Plan for Security and Development of the Strait of Hormuz, were greenlit by the country’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission on Sunday.
