DP World and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) have delivered 5,000 metric tonnes of rice to East Africa, providing critical food assistance to vulnerable communities in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and Rwanda. The shipment will support WFP’s emergency operations, offering relief to more than 14,200 people for one month in regions facing severe food insecurity. The rice was transported from DP World’s Mundra Terminal in India to the Port of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, leveraging the company’s Shipping Solutions network—formerly known as Unifeeder.…
