Romania Shoots Down Armed Drone Threatening €4bn Black Sea Gas Project

Romanian F-16 fighter jets intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden drone detected just metres from the Neptun Deep gas project in the Black Sea, Defence Minister Radu Miruță Radu Miruță Miruță announced on Thursday. The drone, confirmed to be carrying explosives, was neutralised after it was spotted near the Neptun Alpha platform, where several hundred workers were stationed.
