A Turkish seafarer who survived an initial drone strike on his cargo ship in the Black Sea died three days later when the vessel sent to rescue him was also attacked. Ilker Lazoglu, 47, was the head cook aboard the San Marino-flagged Necibe, which came under attack on 18 August while loading 20,000 tonnes of wheat near the Russian port of Tuapse.
