Offshore drilling contractor Transocean has finalized a lucrative deal with India’s state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), securing a contract worth approximately $300 million for its ultra-deepwater drillship, the Dhirubhai Deepwater KG2. The agreement, disclosed this week, marks a significant milestone for the New York-listed company as it expands its operations in the Indian offshore sector.
