On 16 February 2026, MEDLOG officially inaugurated MEDLOG 1, a state-of-the-art integrated logistics park at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, marking a major milestone in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a global logistics hub under Vision 2030.

Spanning more than 100,000 square meters and offering an annual handling capacity of over 300,000 TEUs, the new facility significantly strengthens MEDLOG’s tailor-made logistics capabilities across the Kingdom, enhancing access for both local and international customers.

MEDLOG 1 underscores MSC’s commitment to strengthening Saudi Arabia’s multimodal transportation ecosystem.

A Flagship Integrated Logistics Hub

Designed as a fully integrated logistics park, MEDLOG 1 supports containerized, general cargo, and bulk operations, offering a comprehensive suite of high-quality logistics services. These include container handling and storage, eco-friendly container cleaning and repair, port shuttling, inventory management, and advanced reefer and ISO/flexi tank services such as inspection, repair, and food-grade tanker support.

Adopting advanced technologies, including GPS-enabled trucking, the Dammam facility also contributes to a safer and more sustainable port environment through the use of alternative energy solutions.

Strengthening Inland Connectivity Across the Kingdom

Strategically located near Jubail Industrial City and major urban centers, MEDLOG 1 integrates road, rail, and port connectivity, enabling seamless movement of cargo between the Kingdom’s eastern, central and western regions. Value-added services such as cross-docking, packaging, labeling, and dedicated logistics management offices further enhance supply chain efficiency and market access.

Supporting Vision 2030 and Saudi Economic Growth

MEDLOG 1’s inauguration marks the latest milestone in MEDLOG’s ongoing infrastructure investments in Saudi Arabia. Aligned with Vision 2030, MSC and MEDLOG remain focused on expanding national logistics capabilities, ensuring seamless business continuity, and driving local growth.

Part of MEDLOG’s broader strategy to expand its infrastructure footprint in Saudi Arabia, MEDLOG 1 is expected to create more than 400 direct and indirect jobs.

” MEDLOG is committed to the Kingdom, strengthening infrastructure and expanding access to international markets in alignment with Vision 2030. Saudi Arabia is a strategic corridor with access to rapidly growing markets across three major continents. Together, leveraging the world’s largest ocean liner and MEDLOG’s growing footprint, we contribute to Saudi Arabia’s global competitive advantage and deliver unmatched solutions and value to our customers. ” Giuseppe Prudente Chairman of MEDLOG
